Nelsonville council rows over interim chief’s public remarks
The Nelsonville City Council meeting Monday night took an unexpected turn during the announcements section at the end of the meeting. One council member said he’s contacting the secretary of state regarding other members’ resignations and returns; another defended the interim police chief/city manager’s public comments.
