Black Diamond Development Company, LLC has announced its newest project: the restoration of Nelsonville’s historic Fraternal Order of the Eagles building.
The 5,000-square-foot visitors center will be built off West Bailey Road and could include space for Chauncey entrepreneurs as well as trail system offices.
The new Chauncey Library, to be built at 43 Converse St., will be bigger – double or triple the size of the existing library – branch manager Liz Hill said.
The Ridges could become a $220 milliondevelopment with housing, commercial, academic and recreational uses under a new plan proposed by Ohio University.
