Reasons for these changes are:
• Reduction in the number of registered votes in the county.
• Reduce logistical issues with polling locations – examples: parking or access to location.
• Improve efficiency.
• Ensuring adequate staffing and security at locations.
• Improve election night reporting.
• Cost savings to the county.
Notices will be mailed out to all registered voters in these precincts/polling locations giving them the needed information regarding the changes that apply to them specifically.
We want to also remind voters that there are still multiple ways to vote in every election, such as early-in person voting at the Board of Elections (Schedule will be posted before each election for the hours), absentee by mail (applications are currently being accepted for all elections this year) or you can go to your polling location and vote on Election Day.
