The Nelsonville Water Department has shut off water service on Pine Grove Drive until 3 p.m. today, Aug. 1, until 3 p.m. while two fire hydrants are replaced. When water service is restored, the area will be under a boil order until noon Saturday, Aug. 3.
When a boil order is in effect, customers should boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
