AMES TOWNSHIP- Larry Todd Morris, 60, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Ames Township, passed away on Monday, December 4th, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 24th, 1963, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to the late Wanda Keirns Morris and Larry Morris of Millfield, Ohio.
Todd, as he was fondly known, led a vibrant life filled with love and joy. He graduated from Federal Hocking High School and embarked on a successful career as a master electrician and businessman. His professional journey was marked by his drive for excellence in construction and his dedication and skill, earning him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of work, Todd found immense joy in simple pleasures. Gardening and cooking were not just hobbies but expressions of his creativity and love for his family and friends. He cherished moments spent in the company of his loved ones, creating lasting memories through shared laughter and experiences.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Todd was known for his warm heart, wisdom, and generosity. Helping people and serving others was his love language.
Todd is survived by his partner, Connie Evener of Millfield, Ohio, his three children, Alexander (Ariana), Nicholas, and Emma and his ex-wife, Michelle, all of Lexington, Kentucky. He also leaves behind a precious granddaughter, Madelyn (4), who was the apple of his eye. Todd is survived by his brother, Steven, of Ames Township, Ohio, and brother-in-law Brad Kasler of Amesville, Ohio, along with a niece and nephew, Jenna (Stephen) Stoltzfus and Gabriel Kasler. In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his sister, Leanna Morris Kasler.
Dearly missed by family, friends, business colleagues, and customers, Todd Morris will be remembered and celebrated on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Milward Funeral Home, 391 Southland Dr., Lexington, KY. A second memorial service will be held at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home in Athens, Ohio, on December 30th at 12:00 Noon with calling hours one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in West Union St. Cemetery.
