ATHENS- Raymond Edward “Ed” Johnson, age 75 of Athens died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born June 23, 1948 in Athens, he was the son of the late Frank & Dorothy Johnson.
Ed is survived by a child, Aubrey Johnson; and a sister in law, Molly Sapp. Beside his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Stephanie Sapp Johnson who passed away Feb. 9, 2009.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
