TRIMBLE, Ohio — Shirley A. Bulstrom, 87, of Trimble passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at her residence. Born October 7, 1936, in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Sarah Hall Smith.
She was a 1955 graduate of J.T. High School. Shirley was a member of the Jacksonville V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, served on the Trimble Village Council for several years, and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Patrick (Nancy) Bulstrom Jr. of Albany and Daniel Bulstrom of Trimble; a daughter, Barbara (Roy) Hogsett of Glouster; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bulstrom; grandchildren Tara McGee, Jerred (Meghan) Bulstrom, Malinda Sue (Kenneth) Schwerzler, Cory (Priscilla) Hogsett, Travis (Abbie Coles) Bulstrom, and Jessica (Braiden) Bickley; several great grandchildren; three great-great granddaughters; and a sister, Josephine Swain of The Plains.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick E. Bulstrom Sr., who passed away in 1988; a son, Darrell Bulstrom; an infant daughter, Patricia; and a sister, Geraldine Russell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday Feb. 17, 2024, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with John Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery, Glouster. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
