BOIL ORDER: The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for all customers on Adams Street from West Washington Street to Jingleburg Alley until noon Friday, Feb. 23. The boil order is due to crews tying into a new water line.

Road construction

  • East State Street is closed to eastbound traffic from Lash Street (near the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity house) and Stimson Avenue from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Monday, Feb. 26, for sinkhole repair. No through or emergency traffic will be allowed, and motorists are advised to avoid the area. **Closure updated
  • County crews are removing trees and brush on Dowler Ridge Road (CR 3) and Fisher Road (CR 17); ditching on North Longview Heights Road (CR 83); and patching county roads in Coolville.
