The City of Nelsonville announces that the intersection of Madison Street and West Franklin Street will be closed to traffic at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27. The closure is to perform water main tie overs for a new water main. There will be detour signs posted, and the detour will consist of West Washington, Adams, and Cross streets. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.
