ATHENS- Diana Marie Enevoldsen, age 77, of Athens passed away Sunday afternoon, May 12, 2024 at Laurels of Athens. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Edith Weekley Bruce of Chauncey and the late Jack Bruce.
A graduate of Chauncey-Dover High School, she was a homemaker in the family home. She had been employed at Lawhead Press and the Sundae Shop in The Plains.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jeffrey & Rebecca Enevoldsen of Kettering; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob and Josh Enevoldsen; a sister & her husband, Peggy & Randy Gunter of Chauncey.
Besides her father, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Enevoldsen.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Rev. Phil Foster officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
