When Patches entered the shelter in early April, it was hard to look at her without turning away. Patches was suffering from extreme neglect and a skin condition that included extreme hair loss and raw, sore paws. When you see beyond her physical state though, you’ll find that she has the most soulful amber eyes and gentle demeanor.
Patches has endured some serious suffering in her 4 years, but she has also shown that she is capable of healing. In the shelter, she has gained weight with regular meals. She also allows all different types of handlers to walk her and has excellent leash manners.
But Patches has reached a point where she needs a home to truly heal. The shelter is full, noisy, and stressful. Patches needs a regular routine full of love and good nutrition. Can you imagine how amazing her transformation will be with a caring family?
