Christopher A. Morris, 55 of The Plains, passed away Wednesday September4, 2024, at O’Bleness in Athens. He was born September 24, 1969, in Athens to the late Ernest and Louise Foraker Morris.
He is survived by two sons Cory Morris of Nelsonville and Cody Morris; a stepson Byron Lenigar of Glouster; a stepdaughter Stephanie McCown of Nelsonville; a brother Paul (Arlene) Morris of North Carolina; three sisters Debra Morris of Glouster, Andrea Morris of Port Angeles, WA and Melanie Morris of Michigan; his fiancé Velma Lenigar of The Plains; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ernest Morris Jr., his grandparents, and aunts and uncles.
