The Nelsonville Water Department will shut off water service on SR 691 and Kimberly Road from the Hockhocking-Adena Bikeway to Wolfe-Bennett Road on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. to replace a fire hydrant. When the water service is restored, a boil order will be in effect for the area until noon on Thursday, Oct. 24, unless notified otherwise.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
