THE PLAINS- Nancy Alene (Watkins) Frazee, age 93, of The Plains passed away Sunday evening, November 10, 2024 at her home. She was born in 1931, the fourth child of the late Willard & Pauline Watkins, formerly of Chauncey.
She married James L. Frazee on June 1, 1948 and relocated to The Plains where they raised three daughters. James passed away December of 1992 of leukemia.
Nancy is survived by three daughters, Vicki Powell, Nannette & Bill Carman, and Lori & Mark Abdella; two grandchildren, Tim Powell of Albany and Tina & John Hooper of Athens; four great grandchildren, Courtney Powell, Corey Wooten, Haley Bissell and Brandon Bissell.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Rowena Hanning; and two brothers, Willard Watkins and John “Dick” Watkins.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens with Gary Alton officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.
