Roxanne Richards, 59, of Chauncey, passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Born on May 18, 1965, in Toledo, she was the beloved daughter of the late Gary and Marsha Williams Bauman. Roxanne was a woman of many passions and interests. She had an immense love for cats, whose companionship she cherished dearly. Sunflowers brightened her days and were among her favorite flowers. She found joy in the simple pleasures of bird watching. A devoted fan of reality television, Roxanne especially enjoyed watching “90 Day Fiancé,” which brought laughter and entertainment into her home. Her love for great food was well known among her family and friends, and she proudly embraced the title of “foodie.” Roxanne took immense pleasure in savoring the delicious dishes prepared by her family. Above all else, Roxanne was a wonderful grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Robert Charles Richards III; daughters, Miranda (Chaz) Hackett, Annie Richards and Mary Richards Price; grandchildren, Haven, Vanessa, Jasper, Spencer, Lyla and Chaz II “Jr”; her husband, Timothy Price; a brother, Rusty; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Richards II; a sister, Suzette Bowlin; and a brother, Garrison Bauman.
As per Roxanne’s wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be no services observed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732 to assist with final expenses.
