MILLFIELD, Ohio —
Crocus chrysanthus, or crocus flower. These perennial beauties were seen swaying the Millfield breeze on Monday, March 10, 2025. Too quick to capture were the bees who frequent this patch. A genus in the Iridaceae (iris) family, crocus comprises approximately 90 species. Photo by Al Maloney.
