
ATHENS- Marilyn Ann Williams, 86, of Athens passed away, late Wednesday evening, April 9, 2025 at Laurels of Athens. Born January 27, 1939 in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Williams and Helen Linton Williams.
A graduate of Athens High School, she was a homemaker in the family home. She was a Merle Norman Cosmetics representative. She was a member of New Marshfield Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi, Athens AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and the Athens Boat and Ski Club. She enjoyed her family, oil painting and crafts.
Marilyn is survived by her three daughters, Trinny Williams of Athens, Paula (Paul) Dotson of Athens and Kathy Mara of Logan; four grandchildren, Jeff (Shannon) Walls, Michelle (Billy) Carnahan, Tyler (Rachel) Stotts and Mallory (Cameron Barnhart) Stotts; two great grandchildren, Taylor (Justin) Fouquet and Chelsea Walls; and a great, great grandchild, Caden Fouquet.
Beside her husband, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne “Rusty” Williams in 1977; a sister, Linda William Arnold; and a brother, Charles Williams.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
