Alfred G. Troiano, 75 of Glouster, passed away Monday May 12, 2025, at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Born April 23, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Guido Jr. and Irene Smithburger Troiano.
He was a former Glouster policeman, worked at Malta Mann, and later retired from Superior Fibers in Bremen. After retirement, he was employed as a security guard at Hide-A-Way Hills in Sugar Grove.
Al was a member of the Bishopville Church of Christ, member and Past Master of the Trimble Masonic Lodge #557 and a York Rite Mason.
He is survived by his significant other, Sherry Hill; a daughter, Teresa McCloud; sons, Joe (Amy) and Jim (Candace) Troiano; grandchildren, Tony, Joey, Ashley, Nick, Tia, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Callie, Damien, Frejya, Logan, and Henry; a sister, Diann (Tim) Sheets; Trimble Masonic Lodge #557 lodge brothers; and his loving dog, Teddy.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Troiano; and son-in-law, Herbert McCloud.
A visitation will take place on Thursday May 15, 2025 at the Trimble Masonic Hall, 10619 Valley Street, Trimble, Ohio 45782 from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a Masonic Service held at 7:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life being officiated by Jon Hanning. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel to assist with final expenses.
