Saturday, May 31
9 p.m.: Loud and Proud Pride Kickoff Extravaganza Drag Show, The Side Bar, 24 E. State St., Athens. Kazma Knights and The Side Pieces. Ages 18+. $10 cover.
Wednesday, June 4
4–6 p.m.: Open House and Resource Fair, The Plains Public Library, 14 S. Plains Road, The Plains. Activities, public service resources and free refreshments. Athens County Independent will be tabling.
7 p.m.: Rainbow Connections, “But I’m a Cheerleader” free movie screening. Athena Cinema, 20 S. Court St., Athens.
Thursday, June 5
7 p.m.: Pride Kickoff Happy Hour and Karaoke, Red Brick Tavern, 14 N. Court St., Athens. First event in Southeastern Ohio Rainbow Alliance’s Athens Pride Fest.
Friday, June 6
7 p.m.: Southeastern Ohio Rainbow Alliance Pride Shuffle, Tony’s Tavern, 7 W. State St., Athens. Ages 21 and up.
9 p.m.: Pride Dance Party, The Union, 18 W. Union St., Athens. Hosted by DJ Barticus. Ages 18 and up. $5 for age 21+, $8 for those under 21.
Saturday, June 7
11 a.m.: SEORA Pride Parade, Uptown Athens. Lineup begins at 10 a.m. at Alden Library.
Noon: SEORA Pride Street Fair, Union Street, Athens.
2 p.m.: Athens Ohio Roller Derby Roll the Rainbow bout, Athens Community Center, 701 E. State St., Athens. Appalachian Hell Betties vs. Chemical Valley Roller Derby. Tickets are $12; children ages 10 younger receive free admission.
8 p.m.: SEORA Pride Drag Show, Eclipse Company Store, 11309 Jackson Drive, The Plains. Doors open at 7 p.m. $10 cover.
10 p.m.: Say Gay LGBTQ+ Dance Night, Casa Nueva, 6 W. State St., Athens. With DJ Mooseknuckle. $8 cover.
Sunday, June 8
Noon: SEORA Pride Drag Brunch. The Side Bar, 24 E. State St., Athens.
6–8 p.m.: SEORA Pride Pool Party and Field Day, Athens City Pool, 601 E. State St., Athens. Free; food available.

7 p.m.: Rainbow Connections, “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” free movie screening. Athena Cinema, 20 S. Court St., Athens.
Thursday, June 26
6 p.m.: Queer Arm Wrestling, Little Fish Brewing Company, 8675 Armitage Road, Athens. Costumes strongly encouraged. The last person standing wins a $50 Little Fish gift card. $5 entry fee. Proceeds will go to PRISM youth art program, an afterschool program for middle and high school students.
