double shot of espresso on an empty stomach kind of way. This little dog is F-U-N. She’s the kind of girl who will try to pop a toad in her mouth on the morning she’s supposed to be fasting for surgery while her handler is madly trying to save both animals from certain demise. With that crises averted, (three times) Kenna promptly ripped half the cap off a very suspicious
looking mushroom in the lawn. Yes, Kenna will keep you on your toes.
She will also keep you honest to any New Years resolutions regarding exercise that you may have made under the influence of holiday Prosecco. You should consider Kenna if you 1) have an active dog-friendly dog who needs a playmate, or 2) are a few hundred thousand steps behind in your annual fitness goal, or 3) are prone to fits of brooding and/or generalized existential dread.
If you meet these criteria, please call The Athens County Dog Shelter at 740-593-5415 to meet Kenna. Cannot adopt? Consider fostering. You can fill out an application at: www.fosdathens.com/foster.
