West Carpenter Street closed to eastbound traffic Thursday, Aug. 14

The City of Athens announces that West Carpenter Street will be closed to eastbound traffic for a water line repair Thursday, Aug. 14 from North Lancaster Street to North Congress Street. Road will be closed from 8 a.m. until work is completed. There will be no thru or emergency traffic, motorists are asked to avoid the area.
