Jill A. Dennis, 68 of Glouster passed away August 16, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center after a 9 month battle with cancer.
She was born on December 15, 1956, in Athens County. She was an avid member of the Bread of Life Church in Jacksonville. She loved her family and friends, enjoyed taking pictures, 3-D-bow shoots, crafting, traveling, and watching her grandsons play sports. Jill was known for always helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Les Dennis of Glouster; her daughter, Crystal (Stanley) Richards of Glouster; her son, Chad (Mandi) Dennis of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Ryan (Tiana) Richards of Nelsonville, Bryce (Briana) Richards of Glouster; Gavin Richards-USMC who is stationed overseas, Pacey Dennis of Athens, and JJ Dennis, Elijah, Nevada, Vai and Neveah, all of Jacksonville; great grandson, Zaiden Richards of Nelsonville; her mother, Betty Roberts of Glouster; brothers, Greg Roberts, Randy (Tammy) Roberts, and Mike (Shannon) Roberts, all of Glouster; and a sister, Kathy Roberts of Circleville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Roberts; and her niece, Mackinsey Roberts.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 22, 2025 at the Bishopville Church of Christ with Ron Fierce officiating. Interment will be in Beechgrove Cemetery, Perry County.
