Take a deep breath…..and exhale slowly with Chance, the Athens County Dog Shelter’s newest (and furriest) yoga instructor.
Whether you’re a bendy yoga master or someone who thinks “downward dog” is just how you pick up socks, Chance welcomes you. He’s currently leading Rest & Rejuvenation sessions featuring his very own modified bridge pose (pictured, and yes, it’s as majestic as it sounds). All skill levels are welcome. Zero judgment. Maximum tail wags.
Payment accepted in all forms—cash, good vibes, or preferably chicken nuggets.
If Chance seems a little soulful, that’s because he was once abandoned at the West Side dog park. But still he savors time outside in the outside play yards and does not fear being left alone there.
