NELSONVILLE, Ohio –– The Nelsonville Water Department on Thursday, Feb. 5 issued a boil order for Jackson Street from Watkins Street to Desteiguer Street, Watkins Street from East Canal Street to Railroad Street, Myers Street, and Patton Street.
This boil order is due to a new water line being tied into the system. The boil order will be in effect for the area until noon, Saturday, Feb. 7.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
