The City of Athens announces that East State Street will be closed on Friday, April 17, 2026, from Stimson Avenue to Morris Avenue for roadway repair. Road will be closed from 8 A.M. until 12 Noon. There will be no thru or emergency traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
