GLOUSTER, Ohio – Judith Marlene Murphy, 81 of Glouster passed away Wednesday May 20, 2026, at her residence. Born August 16, 1944, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Margaret Lois Phillips Glass. Judy enjoyed gardening and working in her flower beds.
She is survived by sons, William H. (Theresa) Murphy III, Marvin Murphy, and Mike (Tracy Prater) Murphy; grandchildren, William Kyle Murphy, Kelsey (Corey) Morgan, and Kacey (Jade) Murphy; great grandchildren, Clayton, Presley, Quinton, Morgan, Zane, Charlee, and Sebastian; four brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Murphy Jr.; three brothers; and three sisters.
There will be a visitation from 11:30–12:30 p.m. Tuesday May 26, 2026, at Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. Following the visitation, there will be a burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Morgan County. A message of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.morrisonfc.com.
