ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio – Public schools matter not only to families with children in the classroom but also to entire communities. Strong schools benefit everyone, and honest conversation helps build the understanding and trust our districts need.
That is why the Ohio School Boards Association is launching “Forward Together: A Community Conversation,” a series of community events focused on the issues facing public education.
The event will feature a panel that brings together perspectives from board members, superintendents and treasurers, ensuring a well-rounded conversation on the issues facing public education.
This event will be held at the Athens City School District Central Office, 21 Burg Drive, Chauncey OH 45719.
Registration for this event is not required, but community members may send questions or topic ideas in advance to osbatownhalls@ohioschoolboards.org.
