ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces that East State Street will be closed to east bound traffic from College Street to Stimson Avenue from Wednesday, June 3 through Friday, June 5. Road will be closed from 8 a.m. until work is completed for concrete and brick repair. There will be no thru or emergency traffic. Motorist are asked to avoid the area.
