Michael Paul Linscott

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio – Michael Paul Linscott, aged 43 years, passed away in the early hours of July 5, 2026, of natural causes.  Survived by his loving family: wife Tabby, son Weston (14), daughter Emersyn (9), parents Mary Ann and Paul, his sisters, nieces, nephews, and brother-in-law, as well as the countless friends and family that filled his life with joy.

Michael never met a stranger. In the words of a dear friend, his picture could be found under the word “neighbor” in the dictionary.

Born and raised in Athens County, Michael was a direct reflection of his rural roots. A passionate, skilled hunter, you could often find him fishing, hunting, or planning for the next season. Whether it was a trip to the Colorado mountains, Texas, frozen Alberta, or the farm across the road, he met each experience with his whole heart.

His favorite place, though, was gathering around a fire pit with friends and family, making s’mores and sharing stories. And at the center, you would find Weston & Emersyn; they were, in every way, his everything.

After a private family viewing, a celebration of life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, July 9 at Skyview Acres, 14000 W, Kasler Creek Rd, Amesville, OH 45711.

In true Michael fashion, please join us as we share stories and remember our beloved Michael Paul.
