NELSONVILLE, Ohio — The City of Nelsonville announces that the following city council committees will be holding meetings on Monday, July 13 at Nelsonville City Hall prior to the regular city council meeting:
6:20 p.m. Planning and Development Committee (15 minutes)
- Discussion regarding authorization of the Athens County Land Bank to demolish designated structures in the city.
6:35 p.m. Finance Committee (20 minutes)
- Discussion regarding changing the Special Projects Coordinator position from hourly to salaried employment.
- Discussion regarding the potential police-services contract between the city and Buchtel.
Citizens comments may be made in person or Emailed to councilclerk@cityofnelsonville.com by 1 p.m. Monday, July 13. The meetings may be streamed on the City of Nelsonville YouTube channel. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
