ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces limited access to the West State Street alleyway between Tony’s Tavern and Souvlaki’s Mediterranean Restaurant starting on Monday, August 3, for ongoing work on the Uptown Utility Relocation Project. While there may be delays, access will be maintained with steel plates to allow thru traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. The City apologizes for any inconvenience.
