Thomas Kidd

MILLFIELD, Ohio – Thomas William “Tommy” Kidd, 61, of Millfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at Ohio Health Hospice House in Columbus Ohio.

Tommy was born on May 25, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio to Tom and Nancy Kidd. 

Tommy was blessed with a fun-loving spirit, a mischievous grin and a special knack for making the people around him smile. His joyful personality and genuine kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for the happiness he brought to those who knew and loved him. 

Tommy had a particular love for M&M candies, a simple favorite that brought him plenty of enjoyment. More than anything, Tommy loved people and the connections he made with them. his laughter and unique personality made him a treasured friend and family member. 

Tommy is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Nancy Kidd of Millfield; his sister, Lori Kidd of Millfield; his brother, Scott (Jennifer) Kidd of Denver; and his two beloved nieces, Abigail and Madelyn Kidd. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who were like family to him. 

Tommy was blessed to be a member of a community of friends and caregivers who cared deeply for him. He leaves behind many dear friends at Harner House in Athens, Ohio, as well as the many wonderful individuals who were part of the Echoing Meadows community. The friendships and relationship he formed there were a meaningful part of his life, and he will be deeply missed by the many individuals who cared for him, supported him, and shared in his life. 

Those who knew Tommy will remember his playful spirit, and the happiness he shared so freely with others. Though he is no longer with us, the joy he brought into the lives of others will not be forgotten. 

A Celebration of Life will be held 1–4 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 13 Event Center, 15913 St Rt 13, Millfield, OH 45761. Family and friends are warmly welcome to gather, share memories, tell stories and celebrate the life of Tommy and the special person he was to so many.

Rest peacefully, Tommy. Your laughter and your love for M&Ms will be missed more than words can say.
