The Appalachian Community Grant Program was established to support transformative projects in Ohio’s Appalachian region, helping communities build on their unique assets and strengthen their economies. These ribbon cuttings highlight the partnerships and local efforts bringing those investments to life.
“The Appalachian Community Grant Program is a historic, once-in-a-generation investment in our region,” said Buckeye Hills Regional Council Executive Director Chasity Schmelzenbach. “These projects are creating lasting change and opening doors for future generations. We’re excited to celebrate alongside the state and local leaders and partners who made these investments possible.”
Buckeye Hills Regional Council encourages residents, community leaders, and project supporters to attend the ceremonies and celebrate the impact of these investments across Southeast Ohio.
