THE PLAINS, Ohio — A. J. Stockmeister, general contractor for the Hocking-Athens-Perry County Community Action Program HeadStart pre-school project at 30 Connett Road, The Plains, will be closing Connett Road, just west of Fire Department Lane on Saturday, Oct. 24 as part of a project to tap domestic water, sanitary sewer and stormwater infrastructure.
West 1st Street, Fire Department Lane and Shady Lane will be open to accommodate detoured traffic. Connett Road is anticipated to be reopened by the end of the day. The same road closure will also occur on Saturday, Oct. 31 to complete the project.
