ATHENS, Ohio – The City of Athens announces that traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic on U.S Route 33 West at Exit 196 on Thursday, November 5th, 2026, for repair of the bridge expansion joint. Traffic will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. until work is completed. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone.
