David D. Duncan, 64 of McConnelsville, passed away Tuesday June 13, 2023 at The Laurels in Athens. He was born August 22, 1958 in Athens.
David is survived by his mother, Beatrice Hogsett; two sons, Calvin Duncan of McConnelsville and David Duncan Jr., of Trimble; a daughter, Thelma (David) Price of McConnelsville; six grandchildren, Zackary Price, Darian Price, Dezmin Duncan, Kimberly Price, Caden Duncan and Jazzlin Duncan; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew (Beverly) Russell, Jack (Brenda) Russell and Billy (Angie) Russell; three sisters, Shirley (Hank) Cook, Carolyn (Thomas) Hooper and Tammy (Randy) Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Duncan; his wife Cheryl Lowery Duncan; and two sisters, Margie (Brent) Webb and Charlotte Duncan.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday June 16, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with interment in the Mountville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Friday until the time of the service. Contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 S.
