The West Union Infrastructure Improvements Project will enter Phase 2 on Monday, March 4. This work will require a new traffic pattern:
- On Union Street, only eastbound traffic will be permitted from the west end of the project to the OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital entrance; only one lane will be available. Traffic will be open in both directions from the hospital entrance to Shafer Street; either two lanes will be maintained, or one lane will be controlled with flagging personnel.
- On Herrold Avenue, only northbound traffic will be allowed from West Union Street to the new Davison Court cul-de-sac. Two-way traffic will be open between Davison Court and West State Street.
During construction, the business entrances will be maintained as best as possible. Small delays and short periods of inaccessibility should be expected as work is being completed.
