Letter off-base on local residents, risks
I benefit from the products oil and gas provide, just like anyone else. But I can live without oil and gas. I cannot live without clean water. For the writer to reframe this issue as an attack on energy or as the work of “radical outsiders” is dishonest.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at the Bishopville Church of Christ with Pastor Ron Fierce officiating. Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery. A visitation will take place at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
