Avalanche Pizza to donate 300 bags of food to the public

Bags for anyone in need of food on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. until they are all gone at two locations in Athens County.

ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio –– Avalanche Pizza will be donating nutritional, 15-course food bags for anyone in need of food Sunday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. until they are all gone at two locations in Athens County:

  • Federal Valley Resource Center, 8225 SR 329, Stewart.
  • Athens City School District Building, 21 Birge Drive, Chauncey.

Avalanche Pizza will be preparing 300 bags consisting enough for three full meals per-person, per-bag. Objective is to help our neighbors in Athens County who are underserved and hungry. Our goal is to give hungry children and families the opportunity to eat during the last week before school starts. Supreme pizza (pepperoni, sausage, onion, green pepper, mushroom)

Granola bar (granola, honey, brown sugar, nuts, raisins, cranberries, oats, cashews)
