MILLFIELD — William Joseph “Bill” Dotson of Millfield died Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Doctor’s Hospital, Columbus. Born Aug. 18, 1963, in Covington, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Paul and Patricia Dotson.
He was a truck driver and enjoyed his family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, and dirt track racing.
Bill is survived by his former wife, Debra Dotson; two daughters, Elizabeth (Gary) Barker and Jennifer Morgan, both of Springfield; three sons, William J. Dotson Jr. and fiancé Hannah Barnett of Pomeroy, U.S. Army Specialist Danny A. Dotson of Millfield, and Christopher Battson of Springfield; six grandchildren; four brothers, Bob Dotson of Florida, Jamie Dotson of Shade, Sam Dotson of Athens and Paul (Cheryl) Dotson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Michelle Dotson. A private service will be at the convenience of the family.
