The City of Nelsonville announces a change of plans for the Public Square water services being shut off.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, the entire public square, will have its water service shut off to allow for a tie over to the new water line. A boil order will be in effect 8 a.m.–3 p.m. until Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
