Carolyn K. Webster, 78 of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024, at the Highland Oaks Nursing Center, McConnelsville. She was born June 7, 1945, in Athens. She formerly worked as a Nurse Aid at Hickory Creek and Buckeye Home Health. She was also a foster parent for several years, providing a loving home for children in need. She was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Jacksonville. Carolyn loved spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as her church family.
She is survived by her husband, Raymon R. Webster Sr. of Jacksonville; a son, Raymon R. Webster Jr. of Jacksonville; two daughters, Kelly (Scott) Christman of Glouster and Brandi (Andrew) Hammon of Muncy, IN; grandchildren, Brandon (Natalie) Webster of Grove City, Kayla Hooper of Nelsonville, Megan (Jack) Weedon of Oceanside, CA, Drew Webster of Fayetteville, NC, Abby (Mikey) Shust of Glouster, Emily (Kylee) Hammon of Utah, Andrew (Lindzie) Hammon of Newark, Chelsea (Kyler) Hammon of Lancaster, Ryan (Alyssa) Hammon of Buckeye Lake, and Conner (Kaitlyn) Hammon of Newark; great grandchildren, Braxton and Carter Paul, Dylan and M.J. McManis, and Scout Shust; two sisters, Linda (Paul) Barrett and Jackie Patton, both of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Parker; her mother, Margaret E. Withem Vore; a grandson, Dylan Hammon; and a brother, Rick Vore.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday May 20, 2024, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Ron Fierce officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Family and friends are invited to a dinner at the Bread of Life Church on 7th Street in Jacksonville immediately following the funeral.
