NELSONVILLE, Ohio – The City of Nelsonville announces that The Parade of The Hills Festival street closures and NO PARKING will begin noon Sunday, August 16, 2026, and remain closed through Sunday, August 23, 2026. This is a full street closure with NO limited access due to pedestrian safety concerns.
The following streets will be closed to all traffic:
- • West Washington Street from Post Office to Fort Street
- • West Columbus Street from Library to 45 East Columbus Street
- • Rocky Boot Way from Public Square to alley by the Elks
- • Public Square
- • Fort Street right hand lane from Short Street to West Washington Street
- • East Franklin Street
Please expect vendor, carnival rides and pedestrian traffic throughout the area. Please use caution in the area during the festival and please consider using an alternate route.
