Connie D. Montgomery, 78 of Galion passed away Wednesday January 29, 2025, at her residence. Born July 12, 1946, in Crooksville, she was the daughter of the late Alden Densel and Lousinia Boyer Ahle.
She retired from Chase Bank in Columbus. She was a devoted member of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. Connie found joy in activities such as shopping, cooking, and baking.
She is survived by a son, John Christopher (Monica DeSantis) Montgomery of Columbus; a daughter, Shannon MonBeck of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Christopher Daniel Mitchell, John Montgomery, Brett and Aaron MonBeck; 9 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Elaine Montgomery, Peggy Montgomery, Carol (Dave) Smith, Esther (Rod) Lamp, and Sharon Montgomery.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Montgomery; an infant daughter, Lori Montgomery; a grandson, Avery MonBeck; and a brother, Max Ahle.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday February 4, 2025, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Brother Will Tevis officiating. Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. A visitation will take place on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
