NEW MARSHFIELD- Daniel James Clark, age 40, of New Marshfield died Monday, January 27, 2025. Born May 4, 1984 in Des Moines, Iowa, he is the son of Della Smith Clark of New Marshfield and Danny J. Clark of Albany.
Dan was a graduate of Valley High School in Lucasville and attended the Scioto County Career Technical Center. He was employed as a mechanic, welder, tree trimmer and construction.
He is survived by his mother, Della Clark of New Marshfield; his father Danny Clark of Albany; a grandfather, Larry Mace of New Marshfield; a sister Carolyn Clark of New Marshfield; nieces and nephews, Lilly Hagler, Ayden Hagler, Austin Hagler and Chase Darst; a great niece, Olivia Howard; several aunts and uncles including, Denise Foose, Joe Smith, Dennis (Cindy) Mace, and Robert Clark.
Dan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Mace, and Jim and Wanda Clark.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Friends may call Saturday 12:00 noon until time of service.
