Folks, Colby is just a little baby trapped inside a big dog’s body. And he is breaking all of our hearts. He cries softly in his kennel and will absolutely collapse into your arms if you offer him a hug or a lap. A volunteer put a bed in his kennel at the end of a shift one night and he curled up in it so tight as if it were the first real comfort he had experienced. A 3–4-year-old boxer mix, he is clearly meant for a life on the sofa cuddling with his humans.
Colby has the most handsome face which is equal parts sweet and squishy. Better yet, he bursts into a big goofy smile if you say hi to him, offer a treat, or simply look his direction. Colby has been a star at adoption events and friendly with absolutely everyone he meets. Can someone give Colby the love he so desperately needs? We promise you will get the better end of this deal!
