Are you looking for a large, but low-key companion? Dory is probably the dog for you. This young Anatolian Shepherd is only a year old or so and is already great at lounging. She walks well on the leash and after a brief foster test, she seems trustworthy left in the house alone. Dory was also tolerant of the resident cat. Although it seems like Dory does not get excited about much, she truly has strong feelings about the crate. Dory will find a way out.
Mostly Dory is just a friendly gal looking to lay by your side and get belly rubs. She has not had the opportunity to learn much about living in a home and is unsure still about stairs and car rides. With time, she will pick these things up. Dory has already mastered housetraining and will signal when she needs to go outside. A young dog that is quiet and does not have endless energy?? This mild-mannered lady will be a great sidekick.
