Poor Edwin was found wandering and confused near the airport. He may be one of many senior dogs that get dumped when they start not feeling well. You see, Edwin came in with a host of health problems. He was skinny, frail, and quite anemic. In his kennel, he laid curled up in a ball, obviously not feeling well.
We got to work on addressing his health problems and one of our regular dog walkers brought Edwin home to coalesce. But Edwin was still pretty shut down. Slowly, Edwin began eating again and has started to perk up. Some of the most endearing and encouraging signs of his progress have been Edwin starting to joyfully trot around the backyard and learning to beg for potato chips.
Edwin is a work in progress, but his story is not over yet. This petite boy will continue to blossom with love and care.
