Hambone came into the shelter absolutely terrified. He had spots of missing fur and appeared to have missed out on a lot of love too. With encouragement from volunteers and even other shelter dogs, Hambone has completely come out of his shell. He will launch himself into your arms and is content to snuggle there forever.
Hambone has done well with other dogs, but honestly his first love is humans. He has a million-dollar smile that would melt anyone’s heart. And if it doesn’t, his short, stubby legs surely will. Hambone is going to return any love given to him a thousand times over.
Please call the Athens County Dog Shelter at (740) 593-5415 to meet him.
