Holly is the definition of a diamond in the rough. She came into the shelter as a stray after her owner moved and just left her on her own. She was starving, her ears were badly infected, and her coat was greasy. But behind that wear and tear was the most bubbly and joyful girl. Her tail never. stops. wagging.
Holly’s story broke our hearts, so we were thrilled when a foster offered to give her a temporary home. Her foster reports that Holly is housetrained, knows sit, and absolutely loves kids. Every time we ask for an update she says the same thing: “Holly is a dream.” We will never understand how someone could walk away from such a loyal and friendly dog.
